About Us

Honoring and Sharing America’s Stories

Life stories and classroom resources combine to record and share the beliefs, practices, institutions, experiences and contributions of our people. They also honor and preserve our nation’s heritage and social, cultural and political history. Americans All believes that together they provide a window to the past and a door to the future. In addition, they provide a good departure point for helping teach social studies.

Legacy Preservation

Family members and future generations are losing much of their history and heritage by failing to capture and record the life stories of countless individuals and groups. Through the Heritage Honor Roll, social legacy network members can create and share legacy stories of those important to them.

Heritage Honor Roll

The Web-based Heritage Honor Roll contains stories that recognize, in perpetuity, the personal histories and life experiences of individuals and groups. The small, one-time membership fee that individuals, families, groups or businesses pay to create these stories supports excellence in K–12 social studies instruction.

Instructional Resources

All our nation’s K–12 schools—regardless of their structure, location or community wealth—gain access to high-quality social studies resources for classrooms and professional development opportunities for teachers. State- and grade-level-specific resource databases support content standards, and other program resources reflect multiple perspectives and feature narratives and visuals to keep students engaged.

Sponsor Benefits

Social legacy network members can access print and online versions of their honoree’s legacy story, posters acknowledging their support of our program, and membership cards for discounts on goods and services offered by program partners.
