The story of America is about the countless men and women who give up their own comfort, the company of their loved ones, and sometimes their lives in service to our nation.
From the Revolutionary War to Afghanistan, in times of both war and peace, military personnel endure hardship so Americans can enjoy peace and freedom. Yet, because these men and women often serve in anonymity, their stories of sacrifice and dedication to duty can be lost to posterity. As a proud part of a military family, or a friend or associate, you may want to join Americans All.
For a one-time, tax-deductible registration fee of just $49, you can join a program that has important advantages for you, your family, schools and communities. One major benefit of membership is you can create a legacy story at no additional cost, and this story is preserved forever on the program’s Web site in a Heritage Honor Roll and, for wider distribution, on the Americans All home pages of schools, groups, businesses and organizations that are Legacy Partners. Your legacy story can be told in text, in multiple languages and through home movies and other video and audio mediums. It can contain a photograph and/or a montage of photographs and can be updated, at no cost. For privacy, a portion of the text can be password protected. A unique tool enables members to communicate event, anniversary and memorial announcements.
Americans All invests more than half of membership fees to strengthen social studies instruction to help ensure all students are prepared to participate in our nation’s democracy, economy and workforce. The program aims to give K–12 schools nationwide equal access to history and civics classroom resources, and some of the materials can inform students about how military personnel have contributed to preserving the nation’s democratic way of life. Participating families can also access these resources.
Importantly, once you register for Americans All, you have an opportunity to join its Social Legacy Network for only $4 per month. As a thank-you from the People of America Foundation for supporting social studies education, the first three months of your trial membership are free! Network members can access grade-level-specific resource databases with information that supports state history and civics content standards, a valuable tool to help your children with homework and testing. You will also get membership cards for discounts on goods and services and other benefits offered by program partners and receive e-newsletters with information on legacy preservation and social studies education as well as life lessons and money-saving tips.
Furthermore, when you join the network, you are automatically enrolled in CollegeSave. This organization gives parents of newborns to high school juniors up to one full year of college tuition discounts, practical college savings advice, and a Personal College Savings Roadmap® and provides students with experts for homework help. You will receive $1,750 worth of tuition discounts—valid at 370 top colleges—during your free trial period, plus $250 worth of additional tuition discounts each month you continue your Social Legacy Network membership after the trial period ends. Even if you opt not to continue your network membership, you will keep the $1,750 worth of college tuition discounts just for trying this three-month free trial membership!
