A message from Americans All
Because of the complexities of today’s political issues:
- Voters tend to support individuals they feel they “know,” trust and can easily relate to;
- Voters must be provided with verifiable documentation so they will know that policy statements they hear are are based on facts and are not "Fake News;" and
- Candidates will become more effective if they can easily reach audiences in their own languages and demonstrate—by their actions, not their promises—that they truly care about the ethnic and cultural demographics of their district and the education of its children.
Americans All can help make their path to election or re-election a lot easier.
Americans All, a legacy preservation and education program of the 33-year-old People of America Foundation, will provide an inexpensive, efficient and effective outreach vehicle for your members and their staff to better connect with their constituents.
The history of our nation is deeply tied to immigration. Ancestors of all Americans came here from diverse locations. Many of their unrecorded stories represent history’s missing pages.
- All generations need to pass on the knowledge they inherit from their families. This is extremely important; without it, how will children understand their roots, embrace their identity and learn how to relate to others? Moreover, storytelling brings generations together.
- Most people, especially students, rely too heavily on electronic devices to do just about everything. Consequently, it's getting harder for them to become proficient in written communication, a needed skill as they move on from high school to college or job interviews.
For a one-time membership fee of only $24.50 (half of which will be used to support social studies instruction), Americans All makes it possible for individuals to record, share and archive their legacy stories—in multiple languages, if desired. In addition to our storytelling component, members and their families gain free access to our current and future social studies resources—a $500+ value. They also get discounts from program partners and a free one-year trial subscription to our Social Legacy Network—worth $1,750 in transferable tuition discounts at participating colleges and universities. Students helping seniors, or adults (or volunteers) helping others, create their legacy story receive a free legacy story for themselves. We are SSL pre-approved in Montgomery County.
To begin implementing our re-launched program, we have developed new partnerships, the main ones being with the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH), the Texas State Historical Association and the Howard County Historical Society. All schools, libraries and historical societies participate for free, and receive a story on their organization that is published our Heritage Honor Roll. In addition, to provide more exposure for these stories and to expand their own outreach, they can host the stories of individuals and groups that are affiliated with them that appear on our Heritage Honor Roll on their Americans All Legacy Partner home page.
I would to meet with you or an appropriate staff member to show, in more detail, how our program will support your efforts.Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to working with you and your team.
Sincerely,
Allan
