Americans All is owned by the 36-year-old nonprofit People of America Foundation and managed by the for-profit Americans All Benefit Corporation. Lifetime membership in Americans All is free for students, community members, nonprofits, and schools. This membership includes a three-month free trial subscription to our Social Legacy Network, but students’ free trial extends until their class graduates. This subscription enables members to receive discounts from local businesses and professional service providers. Lifetime members can also create stories to be hosted on the Heritage Honor Roll—in multiple languages if desired—and on the landing pages of groups they belong to or support.
After the three-month free subscription expires, members can continue to receive discounts by paying a $4/month fee, of which 77 percent is gifted to a school of their choice. Members are projected to receive far more discounts than they pay each month to maintain their subscriptions. The subscription can be canceled at any time, and we do not auto-bill or store credit card information.
Businesses pay a membership fee of $49 every six months (77 percent of which goes to a school of their choice) to join the program and create a landing page to advertise their goods and services to our members. This page, updated daily, can host Heritage Honor Roll stories to give them greater exposure and build or expand an affinity group for their organization. Businesses can also create stories on themselves for the Heritage Honor Roll.
In addition, research confirms that life stories are central to one’s sense of self and the social world they inhabit, and they are associated with positive mental health, wholeness, well-being, and a sense of belonging. In today’s polarized, socially segregated, and increasingly diverse America, investments in belonging are more urgent than ever. When one belongs, they feel emotionally connected and welcomed.
Finally, the program is nonpartisan, does not share or sell contact information, and is risk-free for all participants.
